while you are sitting there reading this, there are literally hundreds of thousands of young males and females all over the world [ mostly in america / canada and england] sitting in their grotty little smelly bedrooms or flats, designing computer viruses that they will up-load onto web-sites to cause anonymous innocent peoples computers to malfunction.
these creeps spend literally weeks,months or even years hoping to make a computer viruses that will get into peoples computer bios to completely destroy their computers.
they never see the peoples anger, frustration and distress.... the damage can cost each person about 1,000 [ $1,660.74 ] or more to replace a basic new laptop or tower.
My goodness, although I didn't read all of it as I became bored it just served as a reminder as to just how nasty some JWs can be. To think that the person who write it believes he is a Christian! Goes against all bible teachings. No wonder people are leaving the congregations in their droves if people like that are attending!
Such namecalling usually goes on in a playground by young children who do not know any better but for an adult to resort to such behaviour is just very, very sad.

It is not costing her or anyone else to visit this site, what is her problem?
The only time it costs someone is if they choose to click on an advert and purchase something which is down to their own free will, nothing more.
It is strange how she focuses on something like this when in fact the JWs are making loads of money by giving people a false hope. Furthermore, the money they make is not to put to good use like feeding the homeless or any other kind of worthwhile charity. They spout on about how no collection is made at their meetings but there is a collection box by the front door but preferably they want you to donate by regular monthly direct debit as in this way people aren't likely to make a monthly donation of only £5 thus ensuring they get far more money that a collection plate would ever make.
At some assemblies they often also have facility for credit card donations which, in my opinion, is totally out of order.
I would have thought that any money made by this site in real terms wouldn't be huge when taking into account the time and effort that goes into building a website and maintaining it.
Sarah, have you ever thought about the people who are desperately unhappy, having been treated badly by being shunned or similar? I am certain that this site has been a lifesafer to many people.
all the jws on my facebook news feed are defending the family vigorously and rightly so imo.
if the watchtower had any sense they would step up and offer to pay for ashya's treatment.
that would do far more for their profile than their website publicity campaign.

It must be terrible to have a child with cancer and to have the ability to think clearly at the same time. Every parent is going to want to seek the best treatment for their child.
My only thoughts are that they are free (as we all are) to seek a second opinion. This can be done without taking the child from hospital endangering his life in the same way that if they had wanted to take him away for a holiday this can be organised with the help of the medical team ensuring that he is safe and well at all times and receiving whatever medication/treatment he needs.
If I were in his shoes I would certainly want to do all I could to get the very best treatment but it seems to go against all of this to suddenly snatch the child from the hospital without consulting with the medics to ensure the child's safety during transit to another hospital for another opinion/different treatment.
I recently had reason to seek a second opinion on something and the hospitals completely liaised with each other over my notes, X-rays, previous history etc. and this was all under the NHS.
there are a lot of interesting people that frequent this site.. sometimes, we get an idea of what the posters are really like in "real life".
and i'm sure i could be easily surprised by some that you think might be strong personalities because of their board presence, and in reality, they might be shy in a face to face setting.. i would enjoy meeting simon.

I am surprised that she says she is a JW since when my husband and I last attended meetings, around three years ago now, it was frowned upon to have any sort of career that interfered with meeting attendance.
My husband worked shifts and he was asked when he was going to change his job so that he could attend ALL meetings and FS. Obviously, he didn't change his job because his heart wasn't in being a JW but the difference here is that she is professing to be a JW, so it seems that the rules can be bent when it suits.
I have nothing against Serena at all and have nothing but admiration for someone who can work hard and attain a high level in whatever they do but that just doesn't accord with the talks we all attended in our time at the KHs. In fact, I always hated it when the talks criticized such people as everyone should be able to earn a living in the best way they can and this is her way.

needing to appear to actually earn my dirrty thirty this month i went out for two hours....... anywho one householder we called on was having a bumber crop of turnips!
she offered and i accepted!.
We started growing veg last year and ended up with loads of turnips too!!
We discovered using them just like potatoes was good. Roasted round a meat joint are lovely or cut into large wedges, drizzle with oil and roast in the oven as vegetable oven chips. Yummy!!
